This is advertised as a USB mixer, and I thought aah, no more flaky hookup's throught the laptop headphone port for the backing tracks. Designed from start to finish for live sound, ProFXv2 features an all-new preamp design and FX engineered for premium sound in any situation. I did have a look through the manual before purchase, but you see what you expect to see and make assumptions, and I missed the fact that there is no feed from the USB signal to the Mon send!

The unit is pretty light and can be taken with you from place to place without feeling like you are lugging around more heavy gear on top of what you already have to carry. Mackie Pro FX8 I provide pa for a singing trio who perform at local clubs, and my old Behringer mixer was getting a bit unreliable- time for a new one.
